Description

Korean Short Ribs Kalbi BBQ is very flavorful and sweet, made from short ribs soaked all day in soy garlic seasoning with grated pears and perfectly grilled!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds flanken short ribs cut across the bones 1/2 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1 yellow onion grated
  • green onions for garnish
  • 3 garlic cloves grated
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 pear cored and grated
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and marinate for at least 24 hours then drain from the marinade before cooking.
  2. Cook in the oven for 12-14 minutes at 400 degrees then broil for 1-2 minutes OR heat your grill to medium high and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
